Governance

We develop governance models that meaningfully integrate the family

A family that works together effectively can achieve so much more than one that simply divides its resources.

Transforming what a family can do collectively requires a focus on the human and intellectual capital. A family that knows its strengths and gaps is capable of selecting advisors when required and has the confidence to act independently as well.

We build a bespoke family office guidebook for each family we serve, leaving in place structures and protocols that ensure the family remains harmonious and can be self-governing as opportunities develop. This approach reduces the pressure on one person’s shoulders and makes the family stronger in tough times.

Families we work with have established collective endeavours linked to philanthropy or social entrepreneurship. By building a sense of stewardship, many families experience a deeper connection with the community and are excited and hopeful about the potential within the family and what it can do for the future.
